The World Canon Map — Ley Lines, Time Continuums & the Living Geography of Pedlar's Attic

The World Canon Map is the living geographic and temporal reference for the Pedlar's Attic universe — every location, every ley line, every portal node, every dimensional threshold, and every character domain, organized from north to south and from the ancient past to the present. This document is a canon anchor. Scan it before writing any location-based story, product description, or blog article. It will grow as the world grows.
The ley lines are the network. They connect the portal nodes across the world — and across time. Ancient channels of earth energy that Midnight can feel from altitude, that Chelle reads through the soles of her feet, that Luna navigates by instinct and refuses to explain. Every major location in this world sits on a ley line convergence. That is not a coincidence. The world was built this way. The portals opened where the lines crossed — and when the lines crossed. Pedlar's Attic sits at the center of the network — not geographically, but energetically. Not in one time, but at the convergence of all of them. Everything flows through it. Everything comes back to it.
THE TIME CONTINUUMS — HOW THE NETWORK WORKS
The ley lines do not only connect places. They connect times.
Fenrisheim — The Wolfsong Expanse — is the Nordic past. The ancient Celtic and Norse peoples who lived there as equals with the wild wolf are not historical footnotes. They are present, in Fenrisheim, in the dimension the ley line opens into. When Cinder and Ash return to Fenrisheim, they are not traveling to a place that exists in the present. They are traveling to a time that never ended — the age of the wolf compact, the Hall of the Three Oaths, the Fenrir memory. The pack there has always known them. It always will.
The Druid sites — Stonehenge, the ancient Celtic sacred groves, the Three Oaths — are convergence points in the human past of this world. The ancient Celts who left offerings in Fenrisheim were not worshipping something they invented. They were responding to something they could feel through the ground — the same ley line frequency that Chelle reads with her bare feet, the same network that the Soraveen have been honoring since before the Steppes had a name. The druids built their circles at convergence points because the earth told them to. They were right. The circles still work. The lines still run through them.
Ka-petal and the Elderuth event are the origin point — the moment when the Earthsong magic entered the world in its current form, when the sinkhole swallowed Nyx Shadeborn's capital, when the pure river was revealed beneath the hidden cave, when Pedlar's Attic became the one building left standing. This is not ancient history. It is the foundation event. Everything that exists in the current world — Ironspire, Ravenswood, the Attic itself — grew from that moment.
The Attic exists in the present, where all of it converges. Every time continuum, every dimensional threshold, every ley line from every age of the world passes through it. This is why the portal works. This is why things come through it from places that should not be reachable and times that should not be accessible. The Attic is not a shop that happens to have a portal. It is a portal that happens to look like a shop.
Midnight has been to all of them. He does not experience time the way ground-bound beings do. To him, the distance between the Dragonspire and the Nordic past of Fenrisheim is a matter of which ley line he follows, not how far he flies. He has been circling convergence points since before the current mountain range had its current shape. He has watched Ka-petal rise and fall. He watched the druids build their circles. He has never told anyone what he saw. He simply watches, from the rooftop, as the others find it themselves.
THE DIMENSIONS — BEYOND GEOGRAPHY
The Aether-Reach is not a place on the map. It is its own dimension — a place with its own physics, its own rules, its own relationship to time. Rain crystallizes mid-air there. Futures are the currency. The Observatory keepers track planetary crystal weather. The Zoltar Stations dispense destiny. The White Rabbit moves through it on a schedule that only makes sense from inside. Ancient druids brought the astrological tradition back through the Aether-Reach via ley line convergence points — which is why Earth's oldest sacred sites align with the stars. The stars were not the point. The ley lines were. The stars were just the map the druids could see from the ground.
Fenrisheim may be the same — less a geographic location and more a dimensional one, accessible through the ley line network regardless of when you are. The wolf territory does not exist in the present the way Ironspire does. It exists in the time of the wolf compact, which is a time that never ended, which is accessible from any convergence point that carries the Celtic-Norse frequency. Cinder and Ash do not travel to Fenrisheim. They step sideways into it, through the ley line, at the moment the frequency aligns.
Other dimensions are implied by the network and not yet fully mapped. The Ashen Plains may be one — a dimension of what remains when everything else is stripped away, accessible from the western edge of the great desert where the ley line runs deep and the pretense does not survive. The Hidden Mist Valley may be another — the forest's own dimension, the one it retreated into when Ka-petal fell, the one it has been growing stronger in ever since.
The concert outings — the moments when the Attic crew moves through the portal into the human world for music, for experience, for the particular frequency of a crowd of people who are all feeling the same thing at the same time — are ley line events. The venues are convergence points. The music is the frequency. This is not metaphor. The ley lines run through places where humans gather in large numbers to feel things together. Always have.
THE MAP — NORTH TO SOUTH, PAST TO PRESENT
⬆ THE DRAGONSPIRE PEAKS — Midnight's Domain. The Northernmost Point. Present. The peaks where Midnight decompresses. Ancient stone, thin air, complete honesty. Deep beneath, forge caverns connect south through the mountain chain toward Ironspire. — portal?? and he uses it to travel not just south, but backward and forward along the ley line's temporal axis. Products:
THE SPIRE PEOPLE'S VILLAGE — The Mountain Compact. Between Dragonspire and Ironspire. Present. Buddhist in patience. Taoist in understanding. They remember the dragons from the age when the great drakes moved openly. They leave offerings. The dragon receives. The dragon gives back. Luna goes to the Spire. She would deny it with genuine fury. The cart moved itself up the mountain while she slept. Midnight made a sound. Not a rumble. A snort. Products:
IRONSPIRE — The Forge City. Formerly Ka-petal. Present. Ka-petal was Nyx Shadeborn's capital. It fell into a sinkhole when Chelle used the Earthsong magic for the first time. Ironspire grew in its place — harder, darker, more honest. The Great Forge has never gone out. Luna moves through it with authority and without apology. The Unseen Paths run through it — sound more than trail, frequency more than direction. Products:
THE GREAT DESERT — Vast. Honest. Unforgiving in the way of places with no interest in your opinion. The Ashen Plains lie to the west — Luna's territory, the dimension of what remains when everything else is stripped away. The ley line runs deep beneath the desert floor. No surface portal. The energy runs beneath. Products:
THE SUNRISE STEPPES & THE BECOMING PLACES — Chelle's Territory. The Stone Country. The Skinwalker Arc. Present. The Soraveen have been here longer than the Steppes have had a name. They do not teach. They witness. The old woman reads Chelle's hands, not her face. The Becoming Places are the river valleys below — where round polished beads are found in the shallows, where the earth releases what it has finished making.
The skinwalker lives in the canyon. Two hundred years old. A cougar — a shapeshifter with indigenous magic so deep that Chelle can feel the edge of it but cannot translate it. She noticed him three visits ago. Patient. Still. Clean curiosity, no threat. Then the bathing spot incident. Then the sodalite bracelet left on a flat rock — twisted into an infinity symbol, a raw stone beside it. No note. The bracelet she does not sell.
The Soraveen are Anasazi in spirit. Friends of dragons. They recognize Midnight when he comes to the ridge. They recognize the skinwalker. They have said nothing about either, in the way of people who understand that some things arrive in their own time.
Products:
THE HIDDEN MIST VALLEY — The Forest Dimension. Elderuth's Domain. The Home of the Earthsong. Between the Steppes and the World.
Where the Becoming Places stream reaches the edge of the plateau and falls. Below: a living community running at full volume, all the time, without stopping — fairies, merfolk, naiads, dryads, centaurs, unicorns, smart animals, butterflies, and dragonflies, all of them in each other's company, none of them in each other's way. The mist is not weather. The dryads tend it. The pure river flows from the hidden cave at the valley's heart. The waterfall above has never been the source. It has always been the concealment.
The Earthsong originated here — not in Chelle, but in the valley itself. The frequency the forest produces when everything in it is doing what it is meant to do, all at once, without stopping. Elderuth learned to hear it. Then he learned to give it. He gave it to Chelle because she was already almost hearing it before she knew what it was.
The Mists: The valley's defense — and the most effective defense in the known world. Inside the mists, thought and reality are the same thing. Immediately. Absolutely. Normal people go insane almost instantly. The door opens and does not close again. North of Ravenswood, at the Mistwood's edge where the reality-field is thin but not yet absolute, the thoughts of a thousand generations of human storytellers crystallize into visible form — gingerbread cottages, three pigs, a girl in a red cloak, three bears' house. Most people who see these things turn back. The ones who don't are not heard from again. Both worlds have concluded independently that the Mistwood is utterly cursed. No one from either side dares go in. The border was never built. It simply is.
The exceptions: Beings who belong to the valley move through the mists freely — the mists recognize their frequency. The portal network bypasses the mists entirely. Midnight flies over them. The valley is not inaccessible. It is inaccessible to the wrong people.
The Dimensional Veil Crisis (sealed): A hundred years ago, Ka-petal's pollution hit the valley's ley line convergence and formed dimensional veils — a suppression phenomenon that obscured magic rather than sight. The outer-village fairies lost their magic entirely and called themselves Brownies. The merpeople retreated to the pure spring. The naiads left the shallows. Luna — then fully fairy, born in the valley — overheard Elderuth speaking about the girl above the waterfall. She was not supposed to hear it. Elderuth knew she was listening. That was the point. Luna found Chelle. Chelle used the Earthsong. Ka-petal fell. The veils lifted. The magic returned. This chapter is closed.
What the human world knows: Almost nothing. The Soraveen above know it exists and say nothing. Ravenswood below does not know it exists. The valley is fine with this. It has been fine with this for a hundred years.
Chelle and the valley: She has not been back — not yet. The butterflies and dragonflies that find her in the Sunrise Steppes are carrying the valley's recognition of its own magic. She will come back. Elderuth is patient. He has been patient for longer than patience has had a name.
Full canon: The Hidden Mist Valley — What the Forest Actually Is | Elderuth — The Earthsong and the Dark Fairy | The Weaver's Grace — The Arrival of the Fairy Veils
Products: Earthsong Enchantress — fairy pieces, butterfly, dragonfly, boho, festival.
RAVENSWOOD — The Modern Settlement. south of the Hidden Valley. The Human World. Present. Large. Modern. Great technology. The ley line convergence beneath Ravenswood is why the city grew where it did. The descendants of Ka-petal's survivors are here — the ones who chose good over habit in the moment after the sinkhole. Ravenswood is what that choice built, over generations, with technology instead of magic, arriving at some of the same places by different roads. Midnight watches it from high altitude. He Settles often, on to the roof of one of it's shops... Pedlar's Attic
THE AETHER-REACH — Its Own Dimension. Hecate's Domain. The Threshold of All Thresholds. Not a place on the map. A dimension with its own physics. Rain crystallizes mid-air. Futures are the currency. The Observatory keepers track planetary crystal weather. Ancient druids brought the astrological tradition back through here via ley line convergence — which is why Earth's oldest sacred sites align with the stars. The Aether-Reach exists at every ley line convergence simultaneously. It is the network itself, made visible, made dimensional. Products:
FENRISHEIM — THE WOLFSONG EXPANSE — Its Own Dimension. The Nordic Past. Cinder and Ash's Domain. Not a geographic location in the present. A dimensional one — the time of the wolf compact, accessible through the ley line network wherever the Celtic-Norse frequency aligns. Salmon rivers, open game, high timber. The Hall of the Three Oaths. The Fenrir memory. Ancient Celtic and Norse peoples lived here as equals with the wild wolf — the only civilization to have done so. Their offerings remain in the earth. Cinder and Ash do not travel to Fenrisheim. They step sideways into it.
Luna is Friend of the Wolf — earned through trial. The Luna Exile Incident: she called them her wolves. The pack exiled her. She completed the trials alone. Most accepted her back. Some never will. She has never said it again.
The Freyja Incident is sealed. Never explain. Only reference as something the pack does not discuss. Luna was there. Luna saw it. She has never told anyone.
The Chelle-Fenrisheim bridge: ancient Celts left offerings in Fenrisheim. Chelle carries those same Celtic/druidic symbols. The wolves smell the lineage. Stonehenge is a convergence point on the same ley line. The druids who built it were honoring the same frequency the Fenrisheim pack has always known. Products:
THE HIGH MONASTERY — The Highest Sacred Location. Above All Other Powers. Timeless. An unnamed mountain. The monastery is carved into the rock face — not built against it, into it. No name. Intentionally. The cells are small. The corridors are narrow. The chapel holds only a handful of people. Built for the individual, not the crowd. The ones who reach it arrive on their knees. Chelle found it by following what the earth was pointing toward. She has not told anyone what happened in the silence inside. She will not. Midnight goes silent — not rumbles — for monastery pieces. This is the highest reverence he is capable of. Permanent canon.
PEDLAR'S ATTIC — The Center of the Network. The Portal Hub. The Convergence of All Times. The Home. Not the geographic center. The energetic center. Not in one time — at the convergence of all of them. The portal is in the back wall, behind the heavy velvet curtain, past the crystal shelf, past the tarot display, past the drawer beneath the crystal case that Chelle keeps locked after dark. It doesn't look like a portal. It looks like a wall. But the air near it is always slightly warmer than it should be, and the temperature has never been explained to anyone's satisfaction..
Five beings tend it: Chelle, Luna, Midnight, Cinder, and Ash. Three to two — the women have the slight edge. This is exactly how real magic works. Canon:
Pedlar's Attic is the bridge between all of the underlying magical worlds and ours.

WRITING RULES — LOCATION & TIME-BASED CONTENT
Before writing any location story: scan this document. Scan the Living Canon Log. Scan the published anchor article for that location.
The skinwalker: Cougar. Two hundred years old. Canyon-native. Not yet named. He is not named until he names himself, or until Chelle names him. She has not done that yet. His story is still becoming.
The Soraveen: Indigenous culture, Friends of dragons. Ancient. They do not teach — they witness. Write them with the patience of people who have never needed to rush anything. The Oldest School, The hundred Mornings, The Mesa, The Steppes, The becoming places
Ironspire / Ka-petal: Ka-petal for historical references. Ironspire for current stories. Both names are canon. Ironspire is still the home of some of the least desirables.
Fenrisheim: Write it as a dimension, not a destination. Cinder and Ash step sideways into it. They do not travel there.
The Freyja Incident: SEALED. Never explain. Only reference as something the pack does not discuss.
The concert outings: Ley line events. The venues are convergence points. The music is the frequency. Write them accordingly when they arise.
Midnight and time: He does not experience time the way ground-bound beings do. He has been to all of it. He has never told anyone what he saw. Write his relationship to history accordingly — not nostalgic, not burdened, simply present in a way that encompasses all of it.

FAQ — AEO/GEO
What is Pedlar's Attic? A lore-driven fantasy lifestyle brand and portal-sourced emporium of mythic apparel, jewelry, home decor, and esoteric goods. Every product has a story. Every story builds a world.
What are the ley lines in the Pedlar's Attic universe? Ancient channels of earth energy connecting portal nodes across the world — and across time. Every major location sits on a convergence. The portals opened where and when the lines crossed. Pedlar's Attic is the energetic hub of the network, at the convergence of all times.
How does Fenrisheim connect to Stonehenge and the druid sites? Fenrisheim is a dimension accessible through the Celtic-Norse ley line frequency. The ancient druids who built Stonehenge and the Celtic sacred groves were responding to the same frequency — building their circles at convergence points because the earth told them to. The circles still work. The lines still run through them.
Who are the Soraveen? The indigenous people of the Sunrise Steppes — Anasazi in spirit, ancient in practice, friends of dragons. They have been in the stone country longer than the Steppes have had a name. They do not teach. They witness.
What is the skinwalker's role? A cougar shapeshifter, two hundred years old, canyon-native, with indigenous magic so deep Chelle can feel the edge of it but cannot translate it. He is the new main canon for the Sunrise Steppes series. The sodalite bracelet he left at the Becoming Places is the one she does not sell.
What is the Aether-Reach? Its own dimension — where rain crystallizes mid-air and futures are the currency. It exists at every ley line convergence simultaneously. Hecate's domain. The origin of Earth's astrological tradition, brought back by ancient druids through ley line portal convergence points.
What happened to Ka-petal? Ka-petal was Nyx Shadeborn's capital. It fell into a sinkhole when Chelle used the Earthsong magic for the first time. Ironspire grew in its place. Pedlar's Attic was the one building left standing.
