Collection: Toys, Games & Dragon Things
There is a shelf in the back of Pedlar's Attic that the portal seems particularly fond of. It is the shelf where the rules of categorization quietly surrender — where 3D-printed dragons crouch beside fantasy games and collectibles that arrived without explanation and have shown no interest in leaving.
The dragons came first. Small ones with scales fine enough to catch candlelight. Large ones with wingspans that make Midnight tilt his great sapphire head with something that looks, if you catch it at the right angle, like professional respect. Each one is rendered with the kind of detail that makes people stop mid-sentence, reach out, and pick it up without quite meaning to. They have weight. They have presence. They feel like something that was always supposed to exist in your hand.
The games arrived later — in boxes with rules written in languages Chelle doesn't recognize but somehow understands when she reads them aloud by firelight. Some of them have pieces that move on their own when no one is watching. Some of them have pieces that don't move at all, but feel warm to the touch, as if they remember being played. All of them are the kind of games that pull you in for an hour and release you three hours later, blinking, wondering where the evening went.
Luna has a 3D-printed dragon on her windowsill. She says it was already there when she moved in. Cinder sniffs it every morning with the gravity of a wolf who takes these things seriously. Ash pretends not to be interested — and then, when no one is watching, knocks it over.
This is the corner of the Attic where play lives. Real play — the kind with weight and texture and a little bit of magic baked into the resin. Nothing here is frivolous. Everything here is fun. And a few things are both deeply fun and mildly inexplicable, which is exactly how the Attic likes it.
The portal has a sense of humor. This shelf is the proof.
Come for the dragons. Stay for everything else. Leave with something you didn't know you needed until it was already in your hands.
