Earth's Reach — Natural Crystal Obelisk Point

Chelle doesn't explain why she points the obelisks toward the sky when she sets them on the display. She just does it — the narrow tip up, the base grounded, the stone oriented the way it was already oriented when it formed, because the earth knows which direction it's reaching and there is no reason to correct it. She learned this from someone at the edge of the Aether-Reach who had been working with points for longer than Chelle had been alive and who said very little about it except: the point knows.

These came through in a cloth bundle, stone by stone, each wrapped separately the way things are wrapped when the person packing them understands what they're handling. Chelle unwrapped each one at the counter. The obsidian she set down carefully and stepped back slightly. The labradorite caught the candlelight and did something with it that made Midnight open one eye from the skylight. The rose quartz she held for a moment longer than the others. She didn't explain why. She didn't need to.

Three sizes: 40–50mm, 50–60mm, and 70–80mm. Each point is polished from natural stone — weight varies slightly by density, which is not a flaw, it is the nature of the material. No two are identical. That is also the nature of the material.
