Chelle knows each of these stones by frequency before she knows them by name. She learned to do this young — before she knew what she was doing, before she had a word for it — picking up rocks from streambeds and feeling which ones wanted to be held. The amethyst has always been the loudest. The labradorite is the one that surprises her, even now, every time.

These came through the portal in a cloth bundle from a Soraveen healer she has traded with for years — someone who works in the valley below the Sunrise Steppes and finds the stones the earth offers up along the riverbed, shapes them just enough to let the light through, and sends them on. The pendant is the stone itself, rough or carved depending on the variety, on a simple chain of about 45cm. No excess. No performance. Just the stone and the frequency it carries and whoever is meant to wear it.

The Earth's Voice — Natural Crystal Pendant Necklace comes in eight stones: pink crystal, amazonite, amethyst, fluorite, citrine, crystal pillar, amethyst flower, and labradorite. Each one is natural — size, color, and shape vary slightly because the earth does not manufacture to specification, and that variation is not a flaw, it is the point. No two are exactly alike. That is also the point.

Chelle holds each one before it goes on the display. She is not assessing quality. She is checking whether it is ready. So far they all have been.

Midnight tilts his head at the labradorite every time she brings it out. She has never commented on this. Neither has he.
