Chelle moved it once, by accident, when she was reorganizing the back corridor. The portal opened three times that night without anyone going through. She put it back in the morning. It hasn't moved since.

Luna looked at it carefully when she first arrived at the Attic. Stood in front of it for a long time without speaking. Then: "Templar energy."

"Older," Chelle said.

Luna looked at her. "How much older?"

Chelle looked at the sign. "I don't know. I've stopped trying to find out."

Midnight has never landed on the rooftop directly above it. He lands on every other section. Not that section. Make of that what you will.

Some things in the Attic arrived through the portal. Some things were here before the portal. The Warden's Mark knows which one it is. It isn't telling.
